Overview:
The Rimage Producer IIIseries of digital publishing systems are the industry’s
highest-performing, most reliable solutions for
automatically creating professional CDs, DVDs,
and BDs with customized digital content and directto-
disc print technology.

The Producer III 6100 and 6100N systems are the latest member of this product family, providing a single
recorder system, with a small footprint, capable of publishing up to 8 full DVD-R
(4.35 GB) and 30 full CD-R (696 MB) per hour. The Producer III 6100 and 6100N
will be available on October 1, 2008.
The 6100N is a networked disc publishing solution that is easy to use as a
networked printer or copier. Simply connect the Ethernet cable into the back of the
embedded computer and the 6100N is connected to the network. Users have full
access to all Rimage Producer Software Suite features. The embedded control
center also delivers improved throughput, as much as a 15% improvement in DVD
performance over a non-embedded system.
The 6100 and 6100N, as with all Producer III systems, are available with all
Rimage printers, including:
Everest 600 Thermal Retransfer Printer. Rimage’s newest printer and the
industry’s only 600 dpi printer. Customers who value high resolution
images, consistent print quality, and sharper, easier to read text will
demand the Everest 600.
Everest III Thermal Retransfer Printer. Rimage’s original retransfer printer
delivers the high quality discs customers expect from a Rimage printer.

Customers with and existing installed base will request an Everest III
printer to help ensure a consistent look to all their published discs.
PrismPlus! Thermal Printer. The PrismPlus! printer provides the lowest cost
per printed disc and the highest throughput available on the market
today. Combined with the exclusive Rimage PerfectPrint feature,
customers can print on preprinted discs for a professional look.
The Rimage Producer III systems are the highest performing, most reliable
product available in the market today. These digital publishing solutions are an
important part of any digital publishing workflow and help customers build strong
brand awareness, while supporting their business models.
II. Producer III Standard Features
All Producer III systems (6100, 7100, 8100) have a common set of feature that
meet a wide range of customer requirements:
Front-swappable recorders
Available with CD/DVD recorders, BD recorders, or combinations of both
Everest 600, Everest III, and PrismPlus! printer support
Media Input/Output: Rotating four-bin carousel holds up to 300 discs and
configurable for input or output.
Blu-ray disc recording available on 6100N, 7100N, 8100N only
III. Additional 6100 Specifications
Unlike the 7100 and 8100, which include a non-embedded control center, the 6100
is sold without a control center. It is important that when customers use their own
external PC or dedicated computer, that the following requirements are met:

RAM/Memory: 1 GB, DDR2-533
Fixed Storage: Two 250 GB, 7,200 RPM Enterprise Class Serial ATA hard
drives configured in RAID 0:
Graphics: 1024 x 768 screen resolution, 32-bit color
Ports: One USB 2.0 port
